-उलटकंबल की 1 किलो जड़ को कुट कर 4 ली जल में पकाएं, 1 ली शेष रहने पर इसमें 115 ग्राम काली मिर्च का चूर्ण और सवा किलो गुड़ मिलाकर, चीनी मिट्टी के पात्र में बन्दकर, धान्य राशि यानि चावल में कुछ दिनों के लिए दबा दें; फिर निकालकर, छानकर बोतलों में भर लें। इसको 10-25 मिली मात्रा में लेकर, समान मात्रा में जल मिलाकर मासिकधर्म के 1 सप्ताह पहले से, मासिकधर्म होने तक सुबह-शाम सेवन करें। इसके प्रयोग से मासिक-विकारों से राहत मिलती है।

–अनियमित मासिकधर्म के साथ ही जांघ और कमर में विशेष पीड़ा हो तो 5 मिली जड़ के स्वरस या 1-2 ग्राम जड़ के चूर्ण में शक्कर या शहद मिलाकर सेवन करने से दो दिन में ही लाभ हो जाता है।
